Gerardine Delambo, an attorney in Baltimore, and a second-generation alumna from Institute of Notre Dame, Class of ’67, reminisces about her favorite teachers.
I went to IND and followed in the footsteps of my Mom, Frances Pacifici Berger, Class (omg) 1940. I graduated in 1967.
In 1965, we were in Sister Alphonsus’ (Bloom) homeroom for sophomore year. She called us “suffermores.”
She was and will always be my favorite IND teacher. Second favorite was Sister Linus (Cummings), a gentle soul.
