Haiti Collaboration Committee: AM SSND Legislative Support

Sister Charmaine Krohe signed AM SSND on to a letter from the Haitian Bridge Alliance at the end of March requesting the Biden Administration for an extension and redesignation of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Haitians and a moratorium on deportations to Haiti. There were 481 immigration, human rights, faith-based, and civil rights signers on the letter. Click here to read the letter.  

Ending Human Trafficking: Alliance newsletters

Each month, the Alliance to End Human Trafficking (AEHT) publishes a newsletter focusing on a particular topic. Call for Ceasefire in Gaza

Sister Charmaine Krohe, SSND, signed a letter from the Coalition of Churches for Middle East Peace calling for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. Sister Barbara Paleczny, SSND, acquaintance of Bishop Christian Carlassare, MCCJ, South Sudan, invited him to sign the letter which also holds signatures from approximately 140 congregations and leaders.
